The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? 31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.
34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
Exodus 16:31-34
16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
Luke 5:16-19
At first glance this will seem insignificant, but read on. Something very strange appears in Exodus 16:34. “Testimony” is capitalized. However, it’s not capitalized in a normal way.
As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. Exodus 16:34
It’s not a quote.
It’s not a title.
And even more bizarre… the “testimony” was not yet revealed in Exodus 16:34. The ten commandments were not revealed until four chapters later in Exodus 20. The “ark of the testimony” and the entire tabernacle was not yet built or revealed.
So where exactly does Aaron lay this pot of manna?
Before the Testimony.
We know throughout the Bible that the testimony is the word of God.
Is the Testimony (capitalized) the Word (capitalized) of God?
When Jesus shows up in the Old Testament as the Angel, we see it capitalized also.
It seems very likely to be referring to the LORD himself via the pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, which was a testimony to other nations that God was among the children of Israel (See Numbers 14:14).
But what’s incredibly interesting is that the phrase “before Jesus” only shows up 1 time in the Entire Bible (Luk 5:19)
The phrase “before the Testimony” is in verse #1982 of the Old Testament.
The only mention of “before Jesus” is in verse #1982 of the New Testament.
Why 1982? The number itself is mysterious. The only thing that comes to mind which 100% connects “the Testimony” to “Jesus” is that 1982 is the year when Ron Wyatt claimed to discover the ark of the covenant below the crucifixion site with Jesus’ blood dried up, from a crack in the chamber’s ceiling to the mercy seat below (January 6, 1982).
While it’s not definitive, it really makes us sit back and think.
The 1982nd verse of the New Testament has a man being let down through the roof to Jesus who was beneath. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. Luke 5:19
The parallel passage in Mark reads, “…they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.” Mark 2:4
Did they literally break apart the roof to lower the man down to Jesus? That’s how it reads.
And that’s what happened according to Ron Wyatt’s claim. He described their 3 years process of breaking through underground walls and tunnels until they finally broke through a small hole where Ron was able to crawl into the chamber where the ark is located, 20 feet below the surface.
As the people who witnessed the man who was laid “before Jesus“, cured and forgiven his sins, we can all agree- this is a strange thing indeed.
And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. Luke 5:26
