The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? Call upon the Lord in sincerity. Stop trusting your own hands, and take His. 🤝 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Visit truthischrist.com/grace for more information.
The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
Proverbs 16:33
The first words of each testament of the 1611 King James Bible are strangely found in verses 1,6,11 of those testaments.
The first word of the Old Testament is “In” and the first three verses to contain the word “in” are verses #1, 6, and 11 of Genesis 1. No other chapter in the entire Old (or New) Testament features this distinct verse progression, which corresponds to “1611,” the year the KJB was first printed.
Gen 1:1 – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:6 – And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:11 – And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
This is remarkable because the word “in,” a highly common word in the Bible (the 6th most frequent, appearing 12,674 times), does not appear in Genesis 1:2–5 or 1:7–10.
–
The first word of the New Testament is “The” and the first three verses to contain the word “the” are in verses #1, 6, and 11 of Matthew 1. Once again, no other chapter in the New Testament features this unique verse progression, spelling out “1611.”
Mat 1:1 – The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Mat 1:6 – And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
Mat 1:11 – And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
Despite being the most common word in the Bible (64,041 mentions), “the” does not appear in Matthew 1:2–5 or 1:7–10.
–
Thus, in the King James Bible, the first word of each testament appears in:
Verse 1
Verse 6
Verse 11
…of their respective testaments.
If “in” or “the” appeared in the in-between verses (e.g., Genesis 1:2-5,7-10 or Matthew 1:2-5,7-10), this pattern would not be noteworthy. However, this phenomenon occurs only in the opening chapters of each testament and nowhere else in the Bible. While this could be coincidental, the probability is exceptionally low, especially when considering other 1611-related patterns in the KJB.
If this is your first time on KJVCode, we highly recommend starting with the patterns of Jesus. If His name, which is above every name, is perfectly sealed into the King James Bible, then other patterns—such as this one pointing to the year of publication—become easier to reckon as purposely placed by God.
