The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? Call upon the Lord in sincerity. Stop trusting your own hands, and take His. 🤝 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Visit truthischrist.com/grace for more information.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:11
Jesus + Christ 777+777 in the Bible - Pattern Explained [20:33]
This is the second pattern of the Golden Sequence (the most simple and astonishing trilogy of patterns in the Bible). Combined, all appearances of Jesus and Christ show up 1554 times in the King James Bible when you exclude all antimentions.
1554 = 777+777
Pure Mentions in the Entire Bible:
Jesus(‘) = 980x
Christ(‘s) = 571x
Christian(s) = 3x
Total = 1554x = (777+777) = 777 Average Mentions of Jesus* & Christ*
IMPORTANT!
If you’re looking to reproduce this in your own Bible software, you must be sure to exclude the antimentions (there are 3 places where it says “Jesus” but it’s not referring to Jesus Christ).
Antimentions of Jesus*
Acts 7:45 – Refers to Joshua from the O.T. (same name as Jesus)
Colossians 4:11 – Refers to Justus, a fellowlabourer of Paul
Hebrews 4:8 – Refers to Joshua from the O.T. (same name as Jesus)
Raw Mentions of Jesus* = 983x (If you get 984, it’s counting the 1 mention of Bar-jesus in Acts 13:6)
Pure Mentions of Jesus* = 980x
Antimentions of Christ*
Matthew 24:24 – false Christs
Mark 13:22 – false Christs
Raw Mentions of Christ* = 576x
Pure Mentions of Christ* = 574x
____________
UPDATE: APRIL 29, 2026
It has been discovered that this pattern, in similar fashion to Jesus’ 70×7 mentions in every other book, perfectly divides into 777 mentions in every other book where either Jesus or Christ is mentioned (which is every book except for 3 John).
While 3 John is handled differently between the two patterns, both remain internally consistent. Including 3 John preserves the full book structure, while excluding it also has merit, since it is the only New Testament book without any mentions of Jesus or Christ.
Thus, a critic cannot disregard these patterns on the premise that 3 John adds an extra degree of freedom. The reality is that one of these patterns will always exist, no matter how we filter 3 John. And both stand on sound logic.
____________
7 is God’s number of rest, oath, and perfection.
From the creation of the world, when God sanctified the 7th day (Gen 2:1-2), to the 7 feasts of God (Lev 23), to the 7 pillars of wisdom (Prov 9:1), you will find the number 7 overflowing the pages of scripture, used over and over again to represent God’s number of finality and divine completion.
Jesus is often associated with the number 8, because of his name in Greek numerics, which is 888. In the scripture itself, however, Jesus is represented in Revelation as the Lamb with 7 horns and 7 eyes, holding 7 stars in his right hand, in the midst of 7 golden candlesticks, proclaiming his word unto 7 churches.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Revelation 5:6
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Revelation 1:20
Jesus, the Lord of the sabbath, is our rest, and we can only be perfect in him. And God has sworn by himself (which literally means “sevened himself” in Hebrew), that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isaiah 45:23
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11
Every tongue shall swear. Every tongue shall “be sevened.” Think about it. Every tongue that confesses the name of Jesus Christ, is literally speaking out loud the name that occurs 777+777 times in God’s word, which has gone out in righteousness and shall never return. The King James Bible is settled and will not change. The name of our Lord exists in this perfect state, for ever and ever.
In the Gospels, Jesus asks his disciples if they were paying attention to the numerics in his miracles. Perhaps he is asking us the same today… are we paying attention to all of these things appearing so perfectly with his own name, in his own book, in alignment with his perfect number?
18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.
20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
21 And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
22 ¶ And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him….
Mark 8:18-22
Both 12 and 7 are used by God throughout the scriptures. When you see a miracle repeated in nearly the same fashion, sealed by God’s perfect numbers in both cases, surely it’s common sense that there is something deeper to be learned. This is not “numerology.” God’s hand is in this. How is it that ye do not understand?
There are thousands of unique names in the Bible. But it just so happens that none of them save Jesus (980x) & Christ (574x) produce a sum of 1554 mentions (777+777). Most names in the Bible are mentioned less than 500 times, with the exception of Israel, David, Moses, and Judah, however none of them pair with any other names to produce 1554 mentions.
Jesus & Christ are the only pair, and they naturally fit together in two different ways, with either Pure or Raw search logic:
[PURE] Jesus* (980x) + Christ* (574x) = 1554x = 777+777
[RAW] Jesus(‘) (983x) + Christ(‘s) (571x) = 1554x = 777+777
The fact that the name of Jesus (980x = 70×7 + 70×7) is so perfectly embedded in scripture according to his own number of perfection should raise eyebrows. But to also see the combination of Jesus & Christ produce an equal or greater level of perfection, averaging 777 mentions in the same volume of scripture, should stop us in our tracks. Any honest person beholding these things must ask himself: Is this really just an accident?
And that’s what all of this comes down to. The reason God gives signs and miracles is to set his seal that it is true, and he is behind it. God authenticates his word and his prophets with diverse signs and wonders all throughout scripture, and now we are seeing the most printed Bible in history bearing that same pattern. We see absolute numeric perfection around the name of Jesus Christ. Every mention of Jesus. Every mention of Christ. And together they yield a number that breaks down into 777+777, every digit a seven.
For Christians, this is incredibly significant in light of the Bible translation debate (KJB vs modern versions), especially since none of the modern translations reproduce this pattern or any of the paragon patterns on this site. In the KJB, we have reproducible, verifiable evidence that God has providentially preserved his word.
But for the skeptics, and the agnostics, and those of diverse backgrounds, who never personally called upon the name of the Lord to be saved, these numeric anomalies prove something even greater: God is real. Heaven is real. Hell is real. Truth is absolute. The Bible is not a book of fairytales and manmade legends. The Bible is the word of God. Jesus really died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day, and presently sits on the right hand of God, offering his hand unto us, so that we might be lifted up out darkness and into his marvelous light.
If you have never called upon the name of the Lord for salvation, do you realize what the Bible says about it? I hope you read these scripture carefully as if your life depended on it (because it really does!)
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:10
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10
Have you kept the commandments of God perfectly? Are you sinless? Of course not. We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:10
We haven’t just sinned once or twice. We have failed miserably each day. We are greedy, liars, and full of all sorts of lusts and desires that God hates.
But here is the glorious gospel of grace in Christ Jesus.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:6-10
When we had no strength to stand in our sins before a Holy God, lost in the darkness and without hope, the Son of God came down from heaven to take our sins upon himself, and to forever satisfy the wrath of God. Do you know what Jesus did for you on the cross?
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
If your sins have never been washed away by the blood of the Lamb, today is the day of salvation! There is nothing you can do to save yourself. It is only by faith in Christ Jesus. It is only when you go directly to Christ, and take hold of Him, and ask him to save you from your sins.
You don’t need to go to a church service, or a pastor, or your friend who is a Christian. None of that can save you. Jesus can save you. Enter the closet, close the door, and go to Him. In all sincerity of your heart, call upon Jesus. And don’t be surprised if He answers you in a way you never knew before.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Titus 3:3-7
