The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? Call upon the Lord in sincerity. Stop trusting your own hands, and take His. 🤝 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Visit truthischrist.com/grace for more information.

About Discussion 0

Summary

The Bible is one book, and its volume consists of 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. In Psalm 40:7, we find the phrase “the volume of the book” starting on the 390,270th word of the Bible. This verse is actually Jesus Christ speaking of the Old & New Testaments as expounded in Hebrews 10 where it is quoted as a proof-text for the first and the second covenants:

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:5-10

Not only is “the volume of the book” the 390,270th word of the Bible, Psalms and Hebrews are exactly 39 / 27 books apart.

Psalms + 39 books = Hebrews
Hebrews + 27 books = Psalms (circling around the Bible)

And while it’s not as significant, it is worth noting that Psalms 40:7 is (319 x 27) verses from Matthew 1:1, the first verse of the New Testament.
