The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? Call upon the Lord in sincerity. Stop trusting your own hands, and take His. 🤝 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Visit truthischrist.com/grace for more information.

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 1:10
The 7th word from the beginning of the Bible is “heaven” (Gen 1:1)
The 7th word from the end of the Bible is “Jesus” (Rev 22:21)
This pattern is a simple combination of the 7th word of the Bible (heaven) together with the 7th word from the end of the Bible (Jesus), removing 1 of the 3 antimentions of Jesus from Colossians 4:11. The other 2 antimentions included in this pattern are both referring to Joshua son of Nun (the name-bearer of Jesus and a major type of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament).
The total mentions produce a result of 1554, which is (777+777).
Thus, the 7th word from the beginning and ending of the Bible show up an average of 777 times.
If Joshua was not translated as Jesus in the New Testament (Acts 7:45, Hebrews 4:8), this pattern simply wouldn’t be possible. Modern Bibles do not translate Joshua as Jesus, even though they are both exactly the same in Greek. (Joshua / Jesus = ιησου).
So, you might ask, Why exclude Jesus which is called Justus, but include Jesus when it refers to Joshua? A fair question that has been well considered. The best answer seems to be because the pattern stretches into the Old Testament (with all the O.T. mentions of heaven), and Joshua sun of Nun is a major figure of Jesus Christ. It was Joshua who succeeded Moses, the giver of the Law and brought the children of Israel over the river Jordan and into the land promised unto their fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey. This directly foreshadows Jesus Christ. Justus (Col 4:11) on the other hand bears no such weight in his name. While he does have the name above all names as his own, the difference between Joshua and Justus in their connection with Jesus Christ is insurmountable, and therefore we can logically see how God in His infinite wisdom would have intentionally put Joshua’s name into the N.T. as Jesus 2 times to complete this pattern.
Even if you did include all mentions of Jesus, the total would be 1555, with an average of 777.5 mentions. If you have ever looked into how God counts in the Bible, there is a lot of rounding and interesting ways that He goes about it. There is no issue with acknowledging God’s hand over such an anomaly. It just seems more than likely that Jesus which is called Justus is not so boldly counted with the rest of the mentions.
There is also a Raw + Case Sensitive approach where heaven + Jesus* = 1554x. (See the last screenshot in the image gallery above) This search is also interesting because both heaven (577x) and Jesus* (977x) end with a -77.
Technically, in a printed King James Bible, there is one additional appearance of “JESUS” in all uppercase at the start of John 8, simply because it’s the first word of the chapter—and chapter-openers are traditionally printed in all caps. No other chapter in the Bible begins with the word “Jesus” or “heaven,” so this is a unique case. Including this stylistic instance would lower the count of Jesus(‘) + heaven to 1,553. However, there is also one possessive mention of “heaven’s” in the KJB, which would offset the total back to 1554x and also give logical coherence to the use of possessive mentions with both words: Jesus(‘) + heaven(‘s) = 1554x = 777+777 Raw, Case Sensitive mentions in the Bible.

There were not any apostrophes on possessive Jesus’ until 1762, thus boosting the count by +10. (There are 10 mentions of Jesus’ in the Bible)
