The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Matthew 1:1
And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Genesis 22:15-18
And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
2 Samuel 7:12-17
In the entire Bible, there are 2940 pure mentions of Jesus(‘) + Christ(‘s) + David(‘s) + Abraham(‘s).
2940 = 980×3, and Jesus(‘) = 980x (Pure) in the Bible (which is 70×7 + 70×7), a number that is uniquely reserved for him, with no other name matching this frequency.
In the Entire Bible
Jesus(‘) = 980x
Christ(‘s) = 571x
David(‘s) = 1139x
Abraham(‘s) = 250x
Total (980 + (571 + 1139 + 250)) = (980 + (980+980)) = 2940x = 980×3 pure mentions of Jesus + Christ + David + Abraham, the exact names of Matthew 1:1
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Matthew 1:1
Please note that this is not just significant because all four words appear in Matthew 1:1. This pattern is deeply profound in the light of the entire scriptures. Read on for greater scriptural insight.
There is a reason why Matthew directly links Jesus Christ to David and Abraham in Matthew 1:1.
That’s because both David and Abraham directly received the sworn promise from God about their seed. It is through these two men that God promises the Messiah, or Christ.
The emphasis in scripture cannot be understated:
In the Old Testament, we see these sworn promises firsthand:
Unto Abraham:
And unto David:
When it comes to the promise of Christ, no other man in the Old Testament carries such force as these two; David and Abraham.
This is what makes the pattern so astonishing. All mentions of David + Abraham + Christ produce 1960x (980+980) mentions in the Bible, which is how many times the name of Jesus is mentioned (980), doubled. It’s as if the name of Jesus is intricately and deliberately signed into the Bible, showing us exactly who the promised seed is. No other name in the Bible is associated with the number 980. Only Jesus (when you exclude all the antimentions).
Thus, when we put it all together (Jesus + Christ + David + Abraham), we have 3 persons (Abraham, David, Jesus Christ), and 980 x 3 total mentions, sealing up the sum in utter perfection, as the Holy Ghost inspires Matthew to write:
