The numeric patterns detailed on this site cannot save you from your sins. They simply point us to the God who can: the Author of the Bible. He is the true and living God who created all things, and is above all, longsuffering in mercy, eternal, invisible, immortal, and holy in all His being. He created you and He loves you. That was proven ~2000 years ago when the Word became flesh so that He would be crucified at the cross of Calvary, as a sacrifice for all, when he took all our sins and bare them in his own body, cursed, and hanging on the tree in our place. Many people think their good deeds will be good enough to outweigh their bad on the day of judgment. What a terrifying day that will be, as they enter the presence of the Most Holy, having trusted their own goodness and the work of their own hands instead of those blood-drenched hands that were nailed upon the cross. We have all sinned. We are all guilty. We have all come short. The good news is that Jesus, the Son of God, tasted death in our place. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:3-4 How do you escape damnation? Call upon the Lord in sincerity. Stop trusting your own hands, and take His. 🤝 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Visit truthischrist.com/grace for more information.

We believe the King James Bible is “the book of the LORD” as described in Isaiah 34:16 with enough evidence to overwhelm any other possible conclusion. All of the patterns on this site are found in the KJB / KJV / AV (all the same thing) and part of that overwhelming proof.
Not only was the 1611 edition of the King James Bible printed with the Apocrypha, but for the next 200 years, most KJBs were printed with the Apocrypha. This is a historical fact.
Nevertheless, we do not believe it is inspired nor do we include it in any counts on this site. The term “apocryphal” has been historically used to reference a “spurious” or “non-inspired” book of the Bible, and that has become its primary definition in most dictionaries today.
It should also be noted that the Apocrypha was never considered to be “Canonical” (hence these two words are used in opposition to each other), which is why it was labeled the “Apocrypha” and placed in between the Old and New Testaments.
All patterns on this site match the digital database known as the 1769. However this database does not actually match the 1769 Blayney Edition of the King James Bible. No Bible today matches the 1769 Blayney Edition. The digital database that goes by this name is closest to the base edition printed by Cambridge University Press, called the Concord Edition.
Many patterns fell into place during the process of standardization (spelling updates, capitalization updates, etc.). Using a collection of antique King James Bibles, we try to pinpoint when all the major patterns first appeared. You can find a chronology of when those patterns fell into place on the Timeline page.
99% of these patterns are found in every King James Bible printed today, whether it’s a Cambridge Concord or a PCE (Pure Cambridge Edition).

Thank you for visiting KJV Code in its early launch. If you see a pattern that lacks completeness, that’s because it is still a work in progress. The search result itself should be accurate, but we have yet to add exhaustive summaries and other details to each pattern.
